SMS marketing that turns texts into REAL SALES, not spam.
Most business texts get deleted: no name, no reason to reply, no way to stop. We build SMS marketing people sign up for, read and answer, from text campaigns and automated SMS to bulk SMS, for businesses in the USA, the UK, Nigeria and beyond.

See The ServiceWhy most business texts get ignored, blocked or fined
SMS is not dead. Lazy SMS is. And the first text message ever sent explains why.
A true story from 1992, and a test you can run today
On 3 December 1992, a 22-year-old engineer named Neil Papworth typed two words on a computer and sent them to a phone: “Merry Christmas”. The phone belonged to Richard Jarvis, a director at Vodafone, who was at his office Christmas party. It was the first text message in history.
Jarvis never replied. He could not. His Orbitel 901 weighed more than 4.5 pounds and had no way to send a text back, NPR reported. The first text was a one-way message.
More than thirty years later, every customer you have can reply in one second. Yet most business texts are still written like 1992. You know the one: “BIG SALE!!! 20% off everything this weekend. Shop now.” No name. No brand you recognise. Sent at 9:47pm. Deleted before it was finished.
Some texts never even arrive. Since February 2025, US carriers block texts from business numbers that are not registered. In Nigeria, the networks block promotional texts to people who opted out through Do-Not-Disturb, and your dashboard can still say “sent”. You paid for every one.
And some texts cost far more than the message. In January 2024, the UK regulator fined HelloFresh £140,000. More than a million marketing texts went to people whose sign-up box never mentioned texts.
So try this today. Open your phone and find the last marketing text your business sent. Read it as a stranger. Does it say who you are in the first few words? Does it use their name? Does it give one reason to reply? Does it say how to stop? If it fails two of the four, you have found your leak.
SMS marketing works when it is the opposite of a blast. Texts people asked for, sent at the right moment, that start a conversation. That is the text Jarvis could never answer, and the one your customers answer every day.

Three ways a text dies before anyone reads it
These are the problems we find most often when we audit a business’s SMS marketing. Each one has a fix.
Blocked
An unregistered US number, a Nigerian sender ID the networks never approved, or promotions sent to Do-Not-Disturb numbers. The text leaves your platform and never reaches a phone.
Fix: registered senders, the right routesIgnored
The same shouting blast to everyone, at the wrong hour, from a name they do not know. It arrives. It just never gets read past the first line.
Fix: segments, names and good timingFined
Texts to people who never agreed, no way to stop, or opt-outs ignored. In the US, the TCPA allows damages of $500 per text, up to $1,500 if it was wilful.
Fix: recorded opt-in and instant opt-outA text is the most personal message a business can send. Treat it like a conversation, and it pays like one.
You may recognise one of these, or all three. That does not mean you need a bigger platform or more texts. Most businesses start with a clean opt-in, one welcome text and one automated flow that fixes the most expensive leak first, and the free text checker further down shows what your next message should look like.
SMS marketing pricing: four ways to work with us

SMS marketing has three costs: your platform, the price of each text, and our fee. The first two are paid by you, directly. We never mark them up.
Many businesses can start small: Klaviyo’s free plan includes $5 of texts a month, Postscript starts at $0 a month with a $49 minimum spend, and SlickText starts at $29 a month. One US text costs about one cent, a UK text about five or six cents, and a Nigerian text about ₦6.50 to ₦7 with a local provider. We help you choose the plan that fits, and nothing more. How we count what is in each plan
A price only means something when you know what counts. This is ours, in writing.
Our fee and your platform
Separate payments. Your SMS platform, like Klaviyo, Postscript, Mailchimp or a Nigerian SMS provider, is paid by you, to the platform, in your own account. Message fees are paid to the platform or provider. Our fee is for the work. We never mark up either bill.
A campaign
One text sent to one segment of your list, like a launch or a flash sale. Writing it, checking its length and cost, testing it on real phones and scheduling it are all included.
A segment
The unit every SMS platform charges for: up to 160 standard characters, or 70 if the text has an emoji or a curly quote. A long text can cost two or three segments, so we check every one before it goes out.
A flow
A series of texts that sends by itself when someone does something: joins, leaves a cart, books, buys or goes quiet. One flow keeps working after we build it.
What we report
Delivery, clicks, replies, opt-outs, orders and revenue per text and per flow. Sends are shown, but never used on their own to judge success.
A month
Thirty days from your first text going live, not the calendar month. No long contract: monthly plans stop with 14 days notice. Your platform, list and consent records stay yours.
Pay in naira, dollars, pounds or euros by card or bank transfer. No long contract: monthly plans stop with 14 days notice. Not sure which plan fits? Use the free SMS campaign calculator further down, or message us and we will tell you honestly, even if the answer is the smaller one. Need SMS as part of a bigger plan, with SEO, ads and content? What SMS marketing is, and why texts still win
SMS marketing, also called text message marketing or text marketing, is sending offers, reminders, updates and conversations by text to people who agreed to hear from you. A text lands on the lock screen, next to messages from friends and family. That is the power of SMS in marketing, and the reason it must be earned.

One text to a segment: a launch, a flash sale or an event. The classic SMS campaign, done with care.
Texts that send by themselves: welcome, cart, booking and win-back. Automated SMS marketing earns the most.
Two-way, conversational SMS. Customers reply YES, ask a question or book, and a person can step in.
Order, delivery and appointment texts. Not marketing, but they build the trust that marketing spends.
MMS with a product photo or a GIF, in the US and Canada, where a picture sells faster than words.
Text and email marketing work better together. Each does one job well.
Email tells the story: the new collection, the full menu, the guide. SMS taps the shoulder: the sale starts now, your table is ready, your cart is waiting. A good email and SMS marketing plan never sends both at once. It sends the email first, then a short text to the people who did not open it.
And when the customer wants a long chat, voice notes or a catalogue, WhatsApp marketing does it better. That is why our SMS marketing is planned with our email marketing team and built into your marketing automation, with one list, one set of opt-outs and one report. Most email and SMS marketing platforms, like Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Shopify Messaging, now do both in one place.

Three facts that decide whether your texts pay
From the research and the platforms themselves, with the sources linked.
Klaviyo. Across more than 183,000 Klaviyo customers, automated SMS flows earn about eight times the revenue per recipient of SMS campaigns. Build the flows before you send more blasts. Source.
FCC. Since April 2025, US customers can opt out in any reasonable way, like replying STOP, quit or cancel, and you must honour it within ten business days. We make it instant. Source.
NCC. Nigerians text STOP to 2442 to block all promotions, or HELP to keep only the categories they choose, like banking or education. Promotions they did not choose are blocked by the networks. Source.
“Nobody reads business texts anymore.”
Nobody reads blasts. People read texts from businesses they chose, about things they care about, at a sensible hour. Automated flows like cart and booking reminders earn far more than campaigns because they arrive exactly when the customer is thinking about you. Customers do not hate texts from businesses. They hate texts they never asked for.SMS marketing for your business, not a template
A Shopify store, a restaurant, an estate agent, a B2B team and a local salon need different texts at different moments. Pick yours and see the texts we send first.
SMS marketing for ecommerce that recovers carts and brings buyers back
Shopify SMS marketing in Klaviyo, Postscript or Shopify Messaging: the texts that turn browsers into buyers, and buyers into regulars. SMS for ecommerce works best on the moments email misses.

For restaurants, cafes, bars and food delivery: texts that turn a slow Tuesday into a full room, without discounting every night of the week.

Where we build itReal estate SMS marketing that books viewings, not just clicks
For agents, developers and estate sales teams: instant replies to property enquiries, viewing reminders and price-drop texts to buyers who asked for them.

Where we build itB2B SMS marketing that gets meetings to happen
B2B SMS marketing is not for blasts. It is for the moments that matter: demo reminders, event check-ins, renewal nudges and quick replies to warm leads who gave their mobile number.
“Hi David, it’s Sarah from Fleetwise. Your demo is today at 2pm UK time. Here is the link: fleetwise.io/demo. Running late? Reply LATE.”

Where we build itText message marketing for small business that fills the diary
Text marketing for small business is booking reminders, rebooking nudges and the odd well-timed offer. Simple texting services for businesses, set up once, that keep working while you serve customers.
“Hi Grace, it’s Tee at Crown Braids. You’re booked for Saturday 10am. Reply C to confirm or R to reschedule.”

Where we build itKlaviyo, Postscript, Mailchimp or Twilio? The honest SMS platform comparison
The best SMS marketing platform is the one that sends to your customers’ country, fits your store or CRM, and your team will actually use. We set up, fix and move businesses between all of these, so we have no reason to push one. Prices were checked on the platforms’ own pages in October 2026, in US dollars unless stated.

Delivered, not just sentBulk SMS marketing still works. Here is what the dashboard does not tell you.
In Nigeria and across Africa, bulk SMS and mass texting for businesses are still how many brands reach customers who are not on email. Most bulk texting services sell units. We make sure the units become delivered texts.
Your brand name, up to 11 characters, registered with MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile before you send, so texts do not arrive from a random number or not at all.
Full DND blocks every promotion, and partial DND blocks the categories a person did not choose. We separate promotions from order and account texts, and send each on the right route.
A platform can say sent while the network drops the text. We read delivery reports by network, and fix what fails before the next send.
No 11pm promotions. We send in daytime hours in your customer’s time zone, with a clear way to stop on every text.
SMS marketing services: how Greenlearners Technologies makes every text count
Greenlearners Technologies is an SMS marketing agency that cares about two numbers: how many texts get delivered and read, and how many turn into replies and sales. Ten checks every text must pass
These are the SMS marketing best practices we follow on every send. Nothing reaches a customer until it passes all ten, and you get the checklist at handover.
What you see every month
These are the SMS marketing numbers we track with you, so decisions come from sales, not from how many texts went out.
A text that went out is not a text that was read. That is why we report delivery, clicks, replies and opt-outs together, and tell you plainly which numbers are measured and which are estimates.
Check your next text. Then put a number on it.
Two free SMS marketing tools, no sign up. The first checks a text before you send it: length, segments, cost and the six things that get texts read. The second shows what a text campaign could earn. Nothing you type is sent to us unless you choose to send it.
The SMS text checker
Write or paste your text. See it on a phone, count the characters and segments, estimate the cost, and score it against the six things that decide whether a text gets read. Start with the blast from the story, then load the conversation and compare.
Segments follow the GSM rules most networks use: 160 standard characters in one text, or 153 per part when it splits. One emoji or curly apostrophe switches the whole text to Unicode, which allows only 70 characters, or 67 per part. Prices are each platform’s published rate for one segment, checked in October 2026; change it to your own provider’s rate. The Nigerian rate is one provider’s price, before VAT.

- A way to stop, like “Reply STOP to opt out”
- No shouting: few capitals, no !!!

The SMS campaign calculator
Put in your list, how often you text and what an order is worth. See the revenue, the message cost, the orders you need to break even, and what you keep after our fee. The order rate starts at Klaviyo’s benchmark for a good SMS campaign. A planning estimate, not a promise.
The fastest win is usually not more campaigns. It is a welcome text and a cart or booking reminder, which is why we build flows first.
Want to learn it yourself? Our email marketing course covers email and text marketing step by step, our WhatsApp marketing course covers chat marketing, and our digital marketing strategies hub shows where SMS fits in the bigger picture.
SMS marketing that stays legal, country by country
Text messages have the strictest rules in marketing, and they change at every border, with every provider and with every type of message. One wrong send can cost more than a year of texts. This is what we check before your first SMS campaign goes out.
TCPA, 10DLC and quiet hours
Marketing texts need clear written consent under the TCPA, with damages of $500 per text, up to $1,500 if wilful. Business numbers must be registered for 10DLC or verified as toll-free. No texts before 8am or after 9pm in the customer’s time zone, and opt-outs honoured within ten business days. Some states are stricter.
PECR, consent and the soft opt-in
Marketing texts need consent, or the “soft opt-in” for your own customers buying similar products, with a free way to stop on every text, under the ICO’s rules. The maximum fine has risen to £17.5 million or 4% of turnover.
NDPA, sender IDs and DND
Personal data, including phone numbers, needs a lawful basis under the Nigeria Data Protection Act. Under the NCC’s Do-Not-Disturb service, people block all promotions or only the categories they did not choose, and sender IDs must be approved by each network. We send promotions in daytime hours only.
CASL, GDPR and local rules
Canada’s anti-spam law needs consent, your identity and an unsubscribe on every text. In the EU, GDPR and local e-privacy laws apply, and some countries limit SMS marketing further. We check the rules for each country before the first send.
What gets SMS marketing in trouble
A blocked number or a burnt sender ID can take weeks to recover. We would rather send fewer texts than lose your channel.
How we keep you safe
We are marketers, not lawyers. For a big or unusual campaign, we will tell you when to get legal advice, and we build to what your adviser says.
We build everything in your business’s name: the SMS platform, the sender IDs, the phone numbers, every contact and every consent record. If we ever stop working together, you keep it all, including the flows and texts we wrote. Whoever you hire, insist on this.
Lists, leads and follow-up we have run, straight from the dashboards
SMS marketing pays off when the list behind it is real and the follow-up is fast. These are results from our ads, email and WhatsApp work, labelled by channel. We will not dress them up as SMS results. They show the list-building and follow-up every SMS plan is built on. The full stories are in our digital marketing case studies.

About UsThe honest part: platforms credit texts generously. A sale after a text is not always a sale the text caused. So we track clicks, replies, orders and revenue by text and by flow wherever your data allows, and watch opt-outs on every send. Our bigger plans run holdout tests to prove what SMS really added.
What SMS marketing cannot do, and who should not hire us
Good SMS marketing is powerful. It is not magic. You deserve to hear the limits before you spend a single naira, pound or dollar.
SMS marketing cannot
Texts convert the people who already said yes. New subscribers come from your website, your shop and your ads, through Meta ads, Google ads and SEO, which is why we connect them.

Meet the people who write and send your texts
Software sends the text. People decide what it says, who gets it and when to stay quiet. Your strategist plans, your developer connects, your writer writes every word and your account manager reads every reply, and you can message any of them. When a campaign underperforms, the founder decides what changes next. That is the difference between an SMS marketing agency and a texting app. Meet the whole team.

SMS marketing: your questions, answered
What is SMS marketing?
SMS marketing, also called text message marketing, SMS text message marketing or text marketing, is sending offers, reminders, updates and conversations by text to people who agreed to hear from you. SMS text marketing includes campaigns sent to a group, automated texts that send themselves when someone joins, buys or leaves a cart, and two-way texts where customers reply. SMS in marketing works because a text lands on the lock screen, next to messages from friends and family, which is exactly why it has to be earned with clear opt-in, a real reason to text and an easy way to stop. You may also see it called SMS messages marketing, SMS service marketing or a marketing text message service.
How much does SMS marketing cost?
Three costs. Your platform charges a subscription, each text costs a small amount per segment, and our fee is separate and fixed: Launch Right is a one-off 450,000 naira, 600 dollars, 480 pounds or 540 euros; Grow Every Week is 450,000 naira, 750 dollars, 600 pounds or 675 euros a month; Run It For Me is 800,000 naira, 1,500 dollars, 1,200 pounds or 1,350 euros a month; Own Your Market is 1,500,000 naira, 3,500 dollars, 2,800 pounds or 3,150 euros a month. On SMS marketing pricing from the platforms, a US text costs about one cent, for example 0.012 dollars on Shopify Messaging, a UK text about five to six cents, and a Nigerian text about 6.50 to 7 naira a page with a local provider, before VAT. For a bigger plan, see our growth plans and pricing.
What is the best SMS marketing platform?
The best SMS marketing platform is the one that sends to your customers’ country, connects to your store or CRM, and your team will use. For Shopify stores, Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive and Shopify Messaging lead. For small and local businesses, SlickText, Square and Mailchimp are simpler. For B2B teams, HubSpot and ActiveCampaign add SMS to the CRM you already use. For custom builds and many countries, Twilio is the engine underneath many text marketing platforms. For Nigerian numbers, a local SMS marketing provider with approved sender IDs works best. Our comparison table on this page shows each text messaging marketing platform with its October 2026 prices.
How does Klaviyo SMS pricing work?
Klaviyo changed its SMS pricing in 2026. From 13 July 2026, Klaviyo moved from credits to per-message prices in dollars, with carrier fees included, and rates that vary by country and by number type. New and free accounts moved straight away, and existing paid accounts move on their next billing date after 13 August 2026. The Klaviyo free plan includes 5 dollars of texts a month. Klaviyo SMS marketing is strongest for online stores that want email and SMS in one place, using store data in every text.
Does Mailchimp do SMS marketing?
Yes. Mailchimp SMS marketing is an add-on for the Essentials plan and above, and picture messages need Standard or above, in the US and Canada only. Mailchimp SMS uses credits: one credit for a US text, three for Canada and five for the UK, and credits do not roll over. Mailchimp texting covers 37 countries, but not Nigeria or the rest of Africa. Mailchimp SMS pricing is shown inside your account when you add it. If you already use Mailchimp for email, Mailchimp text messaging is the easiest place to start, and Mailchimp for texting keeps one list for both.
Postscript or Attentive: which is better?
Both are built for ecommerce brands, mostly on Shopify and mostly in the US. Postscript publishes its prices: Starter is 0 dollars a month with a 49 dollar minimum spend and 0.009 dollars per text, Growth is 100 dollars a month, and US and Canada carrier fees of 0.0033 dollars per text are added. Attentive does not publish prices and suits larger brands with bigger lists. Postscript SMS marketing is often the better fit for a growing Shopify store, and Attentive SMS marketing for a big brand that wants a large team behind it. Either way, Postscript marketing and Attentive both need clean, recorded opt-in.
Can I do SMS marketing on Shopify?
Yes, in three ways. Shopify added SMS to Shopify Messaging in December 2025, at 0.012 dollars a text in the US, 0.025 in Canada and 0.06 in the UK, in 12 countries. Shopify SMS marketing apps like Klaviyo, Postscript and Attentive add stronger flows and segments. SMS marketing on Shopify should start with a welcome text and a cart reminder, because those shoppers already chose what they want. Our ecommerce marketing team runs the full Shopify SMS picture.
What is the best SMS marketing for a small business?
Text message marketing for small business should be simple, cheap and mostly automatic. SlickText pricing starts at 29 dollars a month for 500 credits, with a 14-day free trial. Square text message marketing includes 500 texts a month on its Plus plan, then 3 cents a text. Constant Contact text messaging and Constant Contact SMS work for US businesses already on Constant Contact email. For SMS marketing for small business, start with booking reminders, a welcome text and one offer a month. Our small business marketing plans keep it realistic.
Do you work with Twilio, HubSpot and ActiveCampaign?
Yes. Twilio SMS marketing means building on Twilio, at 0.0083 dollars per US segment plus carrier fees, usually with a tool on top or a custom build from our developers. HubSpot SMS marketing is an add-on at 75 dollars a month for 1,000 segments, on Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise, for US numbers only. ActiveCampaign SMS is available on the Plus, Pro and Enterprise plans. We set up all three, connected to your CRM, and recommend them only when they fit.
What happened to Yotpo SMS?
Yotpo closed its SMS and email products at the end of December 2025. If you were on Yotpo SMS, your subscribers do not have to be lost. We move your list into Klaviyo, Postscript or Shopify Messaging with the consent records that prove each person opted in, then rebuild your welcome, cart and win-back flows. Never import a list without its consent records.
Is there free SMS marketing or a free SMS blast?
Free trials, yes. Free sending at any real size, no. Every text costs the network something, so someone always pays. Klaviyo’s free plan includes 5 dollars of texts a month, Postscript and SlickText offer free trials, and Shopify Messaging lets you send 25 free test texts a week. Be careful with free text message marketing tools and free SMS blast sites that send from random numbers: carriers block them, they rarely record consent, and the texts can break the law. Free text marketing is best for testing, not for your customers.
What is bulk SMS marketing?
Bulk SMS marketing, also called SMS blasting or mass texting for businesses, is sending one text to a large list at once. It is still common in Nigeria and across Africa, where many customers are not on email. Bulk texting services, blast texting services and SMS blasting service providers sell units, but units are not delivered texts: your sender ID must be approved by each network, promotions are blocked to people on full NCC Do-Not-Disturb, and to people on partial DND who did not choose your category, and a dashboard can say sent when the text never arrived. We run each bulk SMS campaign on the right route, read delivery reports by network, and keep blasting SMS to people who agreed to it.
Is SMS marketing legal?
Yes, when people agree to it and can stop at any time. In the US, marketing texts need written consent under the TCPA, US business numbers must be registered, and opt-outs must be honoured within ten business days. In the UK, texts need consent or the soft opt-in, and the maximum fine is now 17.5 million pounds or 4% of turnover. In Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Act and the NCC’s Do-Not-Disturb rules apply. Canada’s anti-spam law needs consent, your identity and a way to stop. We are marketers, not lawyers, and we tell you when to get legal advice.
How do I get people to opt in to SMS?
Give them a clear reason and a clear promise. The best SMS opt-in points are a website pop-up, a box at checkout, a keyword like Text JOIN on your packaging or menu, a QR code at the till, and lead ads. The sign-up must say it is for texts, roughly how often, that message rates may apply, and how to stop, and you must record when and where each person agreed. In 2024 the UK regulator fined HelloFresh 140,000 pounds partly because its sign-up box never mentioned texts. A first-order discount or early access usually doubles sign-ups without making the list worse.
What makes a good SMS campaign?
A good SMS campaign says who you are in the first few words, uses the customer’s name, gives one reason to reply or one link, says how to stop, and fits in one segment of 160 characters. It goes to a segment that cares, at a sensible hour in their time zone. The best text message campaigns and text marketing campaigns feel like a message from a person: a launch for people who asked, a quiet-night offer for regulars, or a last call for people who clicked but did not buy. Creative SMS is short, specific and human, never shouting. Test your next SMS marketing campaign in the free checker on this page before you send it.
What is a good SMS marketing strategy?
A good SMS marketing strategy starts with flows, not blasts: a welcome text, a cart or booking reminder and a win-back. Then add two to eight campaigns a month around real sales moments, never more texts than you promised at sign-up. Split your list by what people bought and what they clicked, so each text fits the person. Plan SMS with email, so nobody gets both at once. Track revenue per text and opt-outs on every send. These SMS marketing best practices protect the list that pays you.
Should I use email and SMS marketing together?
Yes. Email and SMS marketing work best as one plan: email tells the story, and SMS taps the shoulder. Send the email first, then a short text only to people who did not open or click. Email and text message marketing on one platform, like Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Shopify Messaging, keeps one list, one set of opt-outs and one report. An email and SMS marketing platform, or an SMS and email marketing platform as some call it, also stops people getting the same message twice. See our email marketing services for the email side, and our marketing automation for how both connect to your CRM.
Does SMS marketing work for restaurants, real estate and B2B?
Yes, with different texts. SMS marketing for restaurants fills quiet nights with offers to regulars, birthday treats and table bookings by reply. Real estate SMS marketing answers property enquiries in seconds, reminds buyers about viewings and tells matched buyers about price drops. B2B SMS marketing is for demo reminders, event check-ins and renewals, not blasts. The use cases on this page show the first five texts we build for each, including ecommerce and local businesses.
What is the difference between SMS marketing and text message advertising?
Text message advertising usually means paying to put a message in front of people who are not on your list yet, and most networks only allow that through their own opt-in programmes. SMS marketing means texting your own subscribers who agreed to hear from you. Be wary of anyone selling SMS ads or text advertising to bought lists: that is SMS advertising without consent, and it breaks the law in most countries. To grow your list, use your website, your shop and Meta ads with an SMS opt-in, then use SMS promotion to the people who joined.
What is conversational SMS?
Conversational SMS is two-way texting: customers reply YES to book, ask a question, or choose an option, and either an automated reply or a person answers. It turns a text from an announcement into a conversation, which is where sales happen. Automated SMS marketing handles the simple replies instantly, like confirming a booking or sending a link, and hands anything else to your team with the full history. We set clear rules for when a person takes over.
Can a Nigerian business send SMS to customers in the UK or the US?
Yes, but each country needs its own route and its own rules. Texts to UK numbers need consent that names texts, under the UK’s PECR, and a platform that sends to the UK, like Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Twilio. Texts to US numbers must come from a US number registered for business texting, through 10DLC or toll-free verification, with written consent under the TCPA. Texts to Nigerian numbers go best through a local provider with sender IDs approved by each network. Many diaspora businesses need two routes, one for customers abroad and one for customers at home, with one list and one set of opt-outs. Our diaspora marketing team can set this up for you.
Why are my texts delivered but not making sales?
Delivery only means the text arrived. Sales need four more things: the right person, a reason to act now, a link that works on a phone, and a page that makes buying easy. The usual causes are texting the whole list instead of a segment, offers that are not worth opening, texts sent at the wrong hour, and slow or confusing landing pages. Fix the segment and the offer first, then the page, with help from our conversion rate optimization team. Use the free text checker on this page to see whether the text itself is the problem.
Should I use SMS, email or WhatsApp?
Use each for the job it does best. Send a text for anything that matters right now: a flash sale, a booking reminder, a cart waiting, a delivery on its way. Send an email for the full story: new collections, guides and receipts. Use WhatsApp for long conversations, voice notes, catalogues and customers who live in WhatsApp, especially across Nigeria and Africa. Most businesses need two or all three, planned together so nobody gets the same message three times. See our WhatsApp marketing services and email marketing services.
How do I work out the return on an SMS campaign?
Take the revenue from orders that came from the text, multiply it by your profit margin, then subtract the message cost and any fees. What is left is the campaign’s contribution. Also work out how many orders you need to break even, so you know before you send whether the campaign can pay. Track orders with a unique link or code per text, and on bigger lists hold back a small group who get no text, to see what the text really added. The free SMS campaign calculator on this page does the maths for you.
Why hire an SMS marketing agency?
Because the hard parts of SMS are not the sending. They are registration, consent, timing, length, segments and knowing what each text earned. The SMS marketing market is crowded with texting services for businesses that sell units and leave the rest to you. A good SMS marketing agency, or SMS agency, sets up your platform in your name, registers your senders, grows a clean list, writes texts people answer and reports revenue, not sends. Greenlearners Technologies offers SMS marketing for business in Nigeria, the UK, the US and beyond, with the strategy, the writing and the technical work done by one team. The best SMS marketing services and SMS marketing solutions are judged by results, not by units sold. Compare us with other SMS marketing companies, text marketing companies and text message marketing companies on what they own, what they report and what they promise.
Who owns my SMS list and sender IDs?
You do, from day one. We set up your SMS platform, phone numbers, sender IDs and every consent record in your business name, with you as the owner and our team as users you can remove. Platform and message fees are paid from your own card. If we ever stop working together, you keep your list, your numbers, your flows and every text we wrote.
Do you guarantee results from SMS marketing?
No, and no honest SMS marketing agency can. Offers, lists and markets all behave differently. What we do promise is the work, written into the scope: senders registered, consent recorded, every text checked for length and cost, opt-outs honoured at once, and a plain report of delivery, clicks, replies, orders and opt-outs. If something is not working, we tell you and change it.
What do I get in the free SMS marketing audit?
A written check of your SMS marketing, sent on WhatsApp or by email, usually within two working days. We look at your sign-up forms and consent wording, your sender set-up, your last three texts, your timing and your opt-out handling, and show you your three biggest fixes. You can fix them yourself, or ask us to quote for the work. There is no obligation.
